Oh, there were hidden ones allright. I found two of them...the pooping one and the "the ring" one. Loved the last one. The animation was fluid and very nice. Blood and brains were drawn great.

All in all, great job! Loved it. I think I'll go work some more on Shinobi 2.

This is ace. The animation is some of the most fluid I've seen yet..I'd guess closer to 60fps than 30? Anyway, it was extremely smooth. And the shooting was great. Dont have any sound right now, so I can't give it a score, but everything else...KICK ASS!

Every time I click on a submission with the words "fight" or "stick" I desperately hope that this next movie will be a real challenge to overhyped movies like xiaoxiao. And every single time, I am disappointed. That said though, I wanna let you all know that this (although not nearly as good as the famous Xiao) is not a bad movie. It's acctually one of the better stickmovies submitted...today.

It's really sad though, to hear myself say that, and then look at what I acctually gave it in score. Yes, I gave it a 3. And I'm voting a 2. Why? Well, let's take a look.

Now, Xiaoxiao was released nearly 3 years ago. It sat a standard for stickfighting, and since it's release, nearly every one of us have tried to make a decent copy that hopefully would surpass this masterpeice. I have tried myself, and I am still trying to do so by making Shinobi 2. The funny thing is, xiaoxiao isn't really that well done. Tha animation is good, but not perfect. The moves is uses in its fights has to be the the number one reason why people like it. I admit, they are outstanding, but they can be surpassed if you watch a few jackie chan movies. There are so many ways of being more original that Xiao, why is there so little originality here? Are we all a bunch of frekking sheep? Lets get one thing straight: xiaoxiao is not god, you can make better. Only thing you need is TIME and WORK. And then you will have it!

On to the acctual movie that I'm planning to review here..let's see..

Ok, it is easy to see that this movie is made of lots and lots of tweening. Although not my way of making a good stickmovie, it works..to a certain point. The animation looks unreal, the movements always floating in a straight line etc. The moves made are ok. Some fairly original and some just plain rip-offs (I have done the matrix bullet-dodge effect myself, and I know it's getting waaay to old. And I made it before everyone else started copying it, but still I ripped it off the matrix). All the characters were done black, wich is a bad idea if you wanna make a real difference between the good guy and the bad guys. Although I didn't loose sight of the hero, it would be better with some colors or variations of any kind.

Btw, whats with the "suddenly drinking a coke" move?

The boss...hm...first he gets a selection of weapons..pretty cool, we sure are in for one hell of a fight now, aren't we?

No, we aren't. The boss takes one kick or something, then he is stuck to a wall and has to be killed. Wow, what an amazing battle! I didn't even get to place my bets before it was all over. The boss gets blown off the wall and gets one final chance, but he is smashed withing a second. And when it IS all over, where can I find the replay button? Oh, thats right, there is no replay button. Interactivity = 0

I can't say I'm impressed, as you all may understand. So here is the final judgement:

Pros:
+Animation is fairly good.

Cons:
-It's pretty much a bad xiao remake. Even the background. Horrible.
-No plot.
-Last fightscene ends within seconds.
-Boring sticks all drawn in the same color.
-Absolutely NO originality.

Vote: 1

SolidBluR Review:

This might be xiaoxiao inspired, but it sure ain't no Xiaoxiao. Although the 3d effect was nicely pulled off, the ending of it was terrible. The animation\moves were way too fast to enjoy, and the pauses between moves were too long. There wasn't any smooth action at all, really.

Watch xiaoxiao again dude.

I'm thinking of making a toturial for fluid movement, like I try to make in Shinobi 2. Alot of people here could use it. This is one.

When I saw the preloader and the font I thought: "hm..nice font, lokos like this guy has some style."

Then I saw the font morphing into the other words...and I though: "shapetweening fonts this bad is a sign of n0000bs. This looks n00b. He even wrote portal wrong."

When the movie acctually started, I got so dissappointed I wanted to submit one of my shits to the portal just to make up for the pain that people have to go through watching this.

Because frankly, a peice of shit is better than this. Far better. Stinks less too.

Dude, I appriciate the effort, but you're just ripping off Blaive, who made the exact same movie, just in full length and with good animation. If you claim to NOT do this, then take a look at his submission found HERE:

See any resemblence? Anyone?

I really liked this one. But my only problem was that it wasn't funny....at all.

A monkey in a pair of tighty-whites isn't enough to make some people laugh.

But the frame-by-frame fighting was incredibly well done, I love that you acctually pulled it off withour the use of 3d programs (unless you did and then painted on top of it :p )

Well done, I'd like to see more from this in the future. But make it either funny or serious, because right now it's caught in between, and it really shouldn't be.

Just plain groovy!
I love the song, and I love it even better with a stick! The movement was very fluid, wich is what I mostly look for in stickmovies. I'm guessing you used alot of shapetween there.

Anyway...I've never been so happy about seeing colors as when I saw the painting in the lobby...you should addd more colors, but I realize that this was only an experiment to test your skills on body movement?

Keep'em coming.

Graphics were ace, it was a good crossing between sticks and dbz. Been getting inspiration from Ralph I guess? It was very well done, and the shadows made my jaw drop a few pixels. But it's stikk very much sticks though (not that I don't like stick, I am a stck-animator, but to get that "10" you could have made flawless dbz-drawings ;)).

It's been done before, in the exact same style, so I won't give you a 10 there either, but still, it's incredible. Good sound too.

The violence...well...it's all good, but pherhaps a little more animation? dbz-flashes are mostly energyballs floating through the air, ain't it? I'd like to see some fluid fightscenes(yes, I know they're hard to draw, but still...if you want those topgrades...)

Couldn't find any real humor here, though :p

Overall, a really god, clean 9/10, and 4/5

Sorry this is a short review, but I'm kinda tired...
Anyway, I was incredibly amazed at the smoothness of the animation in this movie, especially the morphing, where they change their vehicles. That must have taken quite some time. It was pretty much flawless though. The "story" was cute enough. YOu should try making a story, I'm sure it would be great.

Well, you made my favorites list, thats for sure.
Keep up the excellent work!

I'm here to review your work. And to one fine day rule the top 50.
