Animation is amazing, but the song is effin horrible. I can see why this got such a high score as you have tits AND cocks in it, but man...that music totally ruined it for me.

I know it's supposed to be a "crazy, fast, fun flash", but overall I think it lacked a bit in real style. Not graphicswise, just... well... I don't know if you have "jamba-commercials" where you live, but that's what the movie reflected to me. I was almost waiting for a voice going "You can get this Cuu-RAAAAZY movie and music on your mobile phone for only $3.99!!"

Great concept, easy fun, and good design. Everything looks very professional and the music is relaxing. The biggest grip I have with the game is that I don't feel like I'm playing a music game. "WFT??" you'll all say, "the points are moving according to the rythm!" Yes they sure are, but MY actions are not following the rythm, so in my head, my movements are not adding to the experience, which might have been better.

It also get's a bit repetitive after a while and would last longer with more tracks, features and ways of playing. To be perfectly honest, I was a bit surprised to see this on the number one spot. A part of me likes the fact that it is, because it shows NG is maturing a bit, but the other part of me feels like this was a very well designed demo of what to come next, and not a true competitor for first place. Acctually, I think that might be a good way of describing it, seeing as there is bound to be a sequel/expansion.

I'm all about good ideas, and this game has a really good idea. Now all it needs is time. Time for polishing, extending and elaborating on ideas. Once it is, I'm sure it will be an easy game to sell. You should think about making one for the iPhone app store that opens next month, you'll be a millionaire ;)

Pros:
Awesome animation
Good use of colors
A good looking style
16-bit graphics, woo!

Cons:
The dialogue just wasn't that funny
The host's voice ruined it a bit (too exaggerated)
A bit short

Overall: Great effort, well made, but lacks the comedy UMPH. The only part where I laughed was the last second where the monster speaks/cries. Now that was funny.

I've been watching this many, many times over the last 4-5 years. The mood and setting is beyond amazing, the song is incredibly moody (I've aquired the album already), and the animation and transitions are unequaled in their style. I have no idea why I never reviewed it, but here it is :) If I could give this piece an 11, I would. This is art, not flash. It deserves so much more recognition than it already has, and I hope it is included the day we pick our "classics of Newgronds" for praise. I have nothing but love for this movie. Thank you so much for inspiration over the years, Kol-Belov.

Pros:
GREAT artwork.
Decent animation.
Little girls with guns.

Cons:
No real story.
No music.
Really, really short.

All in all: It feels really unfinished, although you're definately on to something. Make it longer, make us care about the characters and for god's sake, give it some music to fall back on.

How to rate this one.. First of all, your animation is quite good. Especially when he pops out from the tree and climbs up the pencils. But they take way too long. You make an animation, then loop it for 10-15 seconds, then onto the next loop it seems.

The story is easily summed up as "boring", and I think alot of this could have been MUCH better with a more charming soundtrack and some serious clip editing/timing. I must confess, when the bubbles started spewing, it was really hard to not close the window. The cartoon sounds are horrible, and totally kills the artistic mood that could have been. Other than that, you have talent, you just need to know how to use it.

Everything was basically good. Animation was very nice, graphics were a definate high (amazing work on shadows), voices was ok (the boss was not really funny, but the minions were), the story was...well. It's not the most original work in the world, or the most fun, but it's all well made and all. I think it needs a bit more charm, if you understand. I know it's supposed to be "evil" and "pathetic" (as in "a pathetic boss"), but somehow "funny" wasn't implemented 100%.
